In time trial mode, you have to make as many combinations as possible before your time runs out.
In most cases, you’ll be able to add extra time to the clock by creating lots of matches. Keep playing for as long as you can! In Lightning Rounds, the amount of time is fixed. The objective is to score as many points as possible. Some versions also feature a Zen mode, a relaxing version in which there is no time limit at all. In Quest mode, you have to solve the different levels within a certain amount of moves or time. Objectives might include clearing away frozen cells, or dropping certain items to the bottom of the board to collect them. In Quest mode, the shape of the board often changes, making the game more challenging.
